The hands down style is advised against for obvious reasons. With no guard protecting chin, it’s quite easy to catch someone with a hay-maker. Interestingly though, many of the highest level fighters prefer keeping their hands down, especially in MMA. In this segment, we’ll be taking a look at two high level martial artists who compete in mixed martial arts with their hands down. Maybe, when the correct foundation is set, there is more to this style than what is presumed? Regardless, it is difficult to teach this style, as it has a high likelihood of resulting in injury, but to the few who can soar spreading their wings, it often translates into a dangerous dance indeed. Thank you for joining me as we take a closer glance.
